Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (hereinafter "Terms") set forth the conditions for using Play with me! Family (hereinafter "the Service"). By using the Service, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

Article 1 (Definitions)

The following terms used in these Terms are defined as follows:

• "User": An individual who registers and uses the Service
• "Family Group": A group created within the Service consisting of multiple Users
• "Content": Information posted by Users, such as photos, videos, diary entries, and comments
• "Administrator": The creator of a Family Group or a User with administrative privileges

Article 2 (Account Registration)

• Account registration is required to use the Service
• You must provide accurate information when registering
• Users under 13 years of age cannot create an account
• Only one account per person is allowed
• Users are responsible for managing their account information (password, etc.)

Article 3 (Family Groups)

• Users can create Family Groups or join existing ones
• An invitation code is required to join a Family Group
• Administrators can add/remove members and delete Groups
• Content shared within a Group can be viewed by all Group members

Article 4 (Prohibited Activities)

Users must not engage in the following activities:

• Activities that violate laws or public morals
• Activities that infringe on the rights of others (copyrights, privacy rights, etc.)
• Harassment or defamation of other Users
• Registering or posting false information
• Unauthorized access, hacking, or reverse engineering
• Commercial use (without permission from the Service)
• Posting spam or advertisements
• Unauthorized use of another User's account
• Activities that place excessive load on servers
• Any other activities that interfere with the operation of the Service

Article 5 (Handling of Content)

• Copyright of posted Content belongs to the User
• Users grant the Service a license to use Content to the extent necessary for display and storage
• Content that infringes on others' copyrights must not be posted
• When posting photos of children, please obtain consent from a guardian
• The Service reserves the right to remove illegal or inappropriate Content

Article 6 (Service Changes and Suspension)

• The Service may change its content without prior notice
• The Service may be temporarily suspended due to maintenance, failures, etc.
• In case of significant reasons, the Service may be terminated (with advance notice when possible)

Article 7 (Disclaimer)

• The Service is provided "as is" and does not guarantee completeness or accuracy
• The Service is not liable for damages resulting from use of the Service (to the maximum extent permitted by law)
• The Service is not responsible for disputes between Users
• Users are responsible for backing up their own data

Article 8 (Account Suspension/Deletion)

The Service may suspend or delete User accounts in the following cases:

• Violation of these Terms
• No use of the Service for an extended period (1 year or more)
• Other cases deemed inappropriate by the Service

Users can delete their account at any time (from the settings screen)

Article 9 (Data Export)

Users can download (export) their posted Content at any time. We recommend backing up your data before deleting your account.

Article 10 (Privacy)

Article 11 (Intellectual Property Rights)

• Intellectual property rights such as software, design, and trademarks of the Service belong to the Service
• Users may not reproduce, modify, distribute, etc. without permission from the Service

Article 12 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

• These Terms are governed by Japanese law
• The Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction of first instance for disputes related to the Service

Article 13 (Changes to Terms)

The Service may change these Terms as necessary. For significant changes, we will notify you in advance through in-app notifications or email. Continued use after changes are made constitutes agreement to the changes.
